With over 20 years of experience, Joseph Dees has seen his fair share of business owners struggle to keep their doors open. It breaks his heart to see entrepreneurs with great ideas fail because of a lack of financial education.
Joseph graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He has worked as a Financial Advisor, Business Loan Officer, and Personal Banker at financial institutions such as Wells Fargo, LiftFund, BBVA (now PNC), Jefferson County and Regions Bank. Joseph has developed many versatile sets of skills in his career in the financial industry, giving him an expertise for helping business owners and individuals achieve financial success.
Recently, he has worked for the nation’s largest small business lender, where he helped almost 200 Alabama small-businesses receive loans. He has coordinated dozens of financial empowerment workshops where he taught students subjects essential to financial independence including budgeting, debt management, entrepreneurship, and personal investing.
